Since the "upgrade" to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 Pro, my Revolve 810 has been a real PITA.
It must be rebooted or shut down and the battery removed because of lockups at least once a day. The wireless drops out randomly now as well. My Chrome browser has developed a lot of issues where it has to be killed and restarted. This is reminiscent of when Microsoft killed Windows 2000 and we were stuck with another lousy O/S.
I've run as many HP diagnostics I can find to make sure the drivers are correct, etc. I hate to get rid of this really great little notebook.
I'm open to suggestions, except the ones that tell me to replace it!

Re: I really miss Windows 7.
Hi Stephen,
I can understand your concern here , Please try below steps and check if it improves your experience with the device
1. Clean boot the machine which temporarily disables third party softwares and chcek if you continue to encounter lockups
https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows
2. Update your device all the recent drivers and windows updates
3. Run a disk cleanup by using inbuilt windows tool
https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4026616/windows-10-disk-cleanup
4. Implement the performance tips as per below article
https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4002019/windows-10-improve-pc-performance
Hope this helps !

SolutionThanks very much for this. I finally got around to running this routine and found pagefile.sys was manually set to zero, something I would never do. I’m sure this fix will provide a substantial boost in the performance.
