how can i install the Proliant Support Pack on a Windows 2008 Core machine?
I've downloaded, unzipped and tranfered al the PSP files to my Core machine. But what is next?
I also installed the Hyper-V role and some VMs. Can i still install the PSP? I did not use SmartStart to install this machine.
Regards,
Patrick

Re: Install PSP on Windows 2008 Core
Install the PSP using HPSUM.exe
After this you can install the whole PSP.

Re: Install PSP on Windows 2008 Core
Do i really need the HP drivers on Core? Or are the MS drivers ok also? Do the HP drivers perform better?
Regards,
Patrick

Re: Install PSP on Windows 2008 Core
Installing Proliant Support Pack on Windows 2008 Core which means you install all divers and HP tools like System Management homepage, IML, ADU, ACU is still pending since I need IE to run instead of Firefox (working on it)

hpsum.exe means HP Smart Update Manager.
If you need further help on hpsum, use "hpsum [/h[elp]] [/?]" in CLI.
