Re: Internal Error
I want a laptop like yours that runs Unix. Where did you get it?
What kind is it?
1) Perhaps consult the windows forum.
2) Pheraps share with us what kind of lapop it is and what the actual OS is.

Re: Internal Error
Also an error message >2000 refers to a possible script error(?) that must be solved by the software provider. In other words, Sony Ericsson should do something about my error.
But now I still do not understand what an Internal is? Internal in what? In my computer? In my OS? In Sony Ericsson PC Suite?
Perhaps more info helps somebody to help me?

Re: Internal Error
In your case, if you're installing the suite from a CD or DVD, it means some instruction in the installation program hit a point where it couldn't continue, and it's somehow related to setdbgout.exe, perhaps because it's a corrupt file or it's not where the installation program expected it to be, or some other reason. In any case, the program stops and displays the error.
If it is a CD or DVD, corrupt installation discs are not uncommon.
You should probably ask Sony support for a replacement CD or if they can direct you to a download location for the installation program.

Re: Internal Error
For example, I recently read an HP support document (can't find it again right now) to the effect that an MS Update had overwritten HP's bluetooth driver on some laptops. The Microsoft version of the bluetooth driver would not work with HP bluetooth, so the net effect was that it disabled bluetooth on the laptop until the HP driver was reinstalled.
In any case, I'd get in touch with Sony support, describe the error in as much detail as possible, and be sure to tell them it happens both with the CD install and the download install. It may be a known issue, and they may have a resolution.
