Mise à jour Windows 2008 vers 2016 sur un serveur {Windows 2008 update to 2016 on a server}
Bonjour,
Sinon, quelle version prendre ?
Merci de votre aide

Can I install a Windows 2016 Server Standard with a HPE bios locked under the reference 871158-A21 (EAN 190017120546)
If not, which version to take? Thank you for your help

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query in HPE Community.
As per official HPE support page , You can install Windows Server 2016 Standard on HPE ML310e Gen 8 V2 model.

I'm sorry, but that was not my question.
I want to know if I can install the version of Windows 2016 Server Standard with an HPE bios locked under the reference 871158-A21 (EAN 190017120546).
My question is that it is an HPE locked bios and the exact product reference
Thank you

Re: Mise à jour Windows 2008 vers 2016 sur un serveur {Windows 2008 update to 2016 on a server}
Hi,
Though the BIoS is locked , However the OS version (Windows Server 2016 Standard) is supported on this model.
You can get the image by logging on to your HPE passport account or use the Standard image ( provided you have to install necessary drivers manually )

If you still have questions, I would suggest to talk with HPE support professional by logging a case with our support team.
