Netraid Assist, Netraid 4M and Windows 2000

I have a Netraid 4m installed in a Netserver LXr8500 running Windows 2000 Advanced server with Service pack 2. I recently installed the newest version of NetRAID assist. After rebooting I tried to run NetRAID assist but encountered an errer "Cannot Connect Server" and NetRAID assist shut down. I went into the service control panel and found that the NetRAID service was stopped. When I tried to start it I encountered a "1067: Service terminated unexpectedly"

Has anyone come across this before?
