PRE-INSTALLED SOFTWARE AND DVD LOST?

I have 2 issues, I purchased a program that requires a microphne, when I attempt to record and playback I don't here anything. Also my Pre-Installed programs & DVD were accidentaly deleted, The DVD player does not show anymore, can I attempt somehow to Re-Install ?

the pre installed software that came with my pc windows xp this happend when i tried to take it back to its factory settings with the cd recovery cd my pc came with .
