Probook 650 G1 keeps Performing Restore with Event Error.

A new laptop with a Clean Microsoft build keeps going into HP Updates then the following error comes and the next reboot causes an automatic restore request.

|[hpcasl]Command::Get{hpCasl.enReturnCode(string,object&)}|An exception occurred Specified cast is not valid.

Is there any way to stop this from happening? The build is solid. There are no problems with the hardware. This is a nusance recovery and it is happening on several of the Probook 650 G1 laptops.

For me, the best solution would be for HP to fix the problem in its updates but i would settle for the ability to shutoff the recovery option.

thanks,

I have the same problem. Fresh win8.1 installation, hp framework preinstalled also.

Error id is: 2014.11.07 10:17:21.356|000013D0|Error      |[hpcasl]Command::Get{hpCasl.enReturnCode(string,object&)}|An exception occurred Specified cast is not valid.

This error triggers at the start of the computer.

edit: I have probook 450g0
