Quick Play re-install

Hi, I have the dv6108nr and I did a fresh install of Vista Home Premium which wiped out Quick Play and the system recovery feature.

The quick Play buttons at the top of the notebook no longer work as they used to. How can I re-install the Quick Play feature?

Re: Quick Play re-install

As you have deleted the recovery partition there is no way to install HP quickplay again. However you can install third party quickplay.
Install the quick play using the following steps.
1. Downlaod and install the Winrar software from the below link.
http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar37b5.exe
Please copy the entire URL and paste it in a new window of Internet Explorer. Then open the link from there.
2. Download the below quick play software.
http://www.mediafire.com/?e4neajozn5l
3. Once you download the quick play software, right click on it and click on extract to here.
You would see the quick play folder. double click on the quick play folder you would see two folders again.
Double click on QPW ans then double click on SETUP ( FIRST SETUP). Follow the on screen instructions. afterinstalling the quick play it works.

Re: Quick Play re-install

Invalid Quickkey. This error has been forwarded to MediaFire's development team.

The quickkey you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.
