Quick Play sound

I was recording video using quickplay. When I play it back in quickplay the sound is perfect, but when I play the video in Windows Media player there is no sound on the video at all. Any suggestions on what the problem is? My laptop is a HP Pavillion dv6000.

You need quick play codec to play it in Windows media player.
Use VLC player it has allmost codec built in and its open source too.
