Veritas Enterprise Administrator (VEA) client on Windows

Hi
I have Veritas Volume Manager 3.5 for HP-UX with VERITAS Enterprise Administrator (VEA).
Is it possible to have VEA client on Windows and VEA server on HP-UX?
Where can I download VEA client for Windows from?

Hi,

You should get it from the veritas volume manager cd. it should be under some windows / win32 directory.

Hope this helps.

Piotr:

Here are a few snippets from the VEA User's Guide available from this link:
http://ftp.support.veritas.com/pub/support/products/Enterprise_Administrator/250792.pdf

"VxVM VEA is a Java-based interface that consists of a server and a client. The server runs on a UNIX machine that is running VxVM. The client runs on any machine that supports the Java Runtime Environment."

"Remote Administration:
Administrators can perform VxVM administration remotely or locally. The VEA client runs on UNIX or Windows machines."
Make a great day!
