Virus problem

I peformed a full system restore with the Recovery CD on my presario model 5BW143. Then I installed the latest Mcafee antivirus Super DAT file (4143), and proceeded to perform a complete system scan. Viruscan version is 4.0.3 (comes bundled with PC).
The anti-virus software detects w32/hybris.gen@MM virus on several files in drive D: (system_sav).
No viruses are detected on drive C:
What's wrong?
