Webcam issues with Compaq

When I start the webcam on my Compaq the images appear with a greenish tinge and only after sometime/withsome movement of the laptop the images appear with real colour and contrast. I beleive that this is not normal. Please advice.

P.S.- the laptop has been bought only a week ago.

maybe the driver' camera is't working
try to reinstall it
if this dont work try to do a recovery if dont works si a fisic problem need service
