Where is the internal microphone on a HP zvpavilion laptop?

Trying to use Skype; I can here the person called, but they cannot hear me. Failing microphone test provided by Skype. Where do I talk into a computer? Where are the settings to change if needed All audio devices working properly, Do I have to have an external microphone for Skype?

It will probably work better if you have an external mic. But to use the internal, go to control panel> sounds & audio devices>audio and confirm your settings there. Chances are, either the default recording device is set incorrectly, or (under the volume button) the incorrect input is selected.
