backup and recovery manager
Hi!
I`m having some problem with the Backup and Recovery Manager; I saved all my data into a External Drive after a crashdown of my PC runing Windows Vista, and now it seems impossible to recover that files.
I tried over many computers; but I just can open the .exe only on Windows XP and it stucks when it asks me to insert disk #.1; I left it like that for ages and it didn`t show any progress at all.
I tried every step of the multiples solutions published on this page, and I`m still on the same dig.
I`m starting to think that all my files are lost forever, and it frightens me to forget about all my 7 months old daughter pictures that I could not save.
Please, tell me that I`m wrong, and show me the solution to my problem.

Re: backup and recovery manager
Check your backup folder for large file with "WIM" extension. Its native MS formatted image.
You can work with this file for example with imageX tool.
Additional info for imageX aviable at this location:
