cdrom firmware failure

I have a pavilion 6330 model and I recently ran the firmware update at this

When i did somehow it didn't finish now i have no Cdrom Drive ...

What can i do to fix this problem ...plz any response would be helpful...

Dude.. your screwed. The only thing that will make that work again on a failed update is sending to the factory.

Doug's right. It has to go to the factory, the firmware chip pulled and replaced. Sorry.......... :(
