Re: pavillion MX703
The HP MX703 is a 17" monitor. Please tell us the model of your computer (get it from the main computer case). Thanks.

Re: pavillion MX703
They are now telling me I have to make my own recovery disk! Whats up with that? What will I do if my self made recovery disk does not work when needed? I don't like this HP! Although my new HP is nice I may have to find a new brand of computer to buy. I hate to say that because I am a huge hp fan but I think paying 950 dollars before rebate should entitle me to a professionally made recovery disk. you know one I can rely on.

Re: pavillion MX703
If you go to this link you will find chapter and verse on creating your own disks.
http://h20015.www2.hp.com/hub_search/document.jhtml?lc=en&docName=bph08097
They will be just as good as the HP disks.
BTW - I have heard that if you restore your system to an earlier date than the one you created the first set you can repeat the process again.
Best regards
Charles

Re: pavillion MX703
I would mention that in exceptional circumstances you could get a HP recovery set. The policy and reasons for non-availability of the recovery disks is covered in the following link:
http://h20015.www2.hp.com/hub_search/document.jhtml?lc=en&docName=buh07342
If your only concern is the disks then I would hold on to your computer. Your disks will be OK.
You may not be aware that there is a Pavilion forum. The link is as follows:

Best Regards
