proliant windows update procedure

After running Windows Update on a Proliant Server (e.g. ML350 G3), is there anything else I should do prior to restarting? My understanding is that as long as I answer NO to any prompt about overwriting drivers or other vendor-supplied files, I can just restart. I remember years ago having to run a utility buried in the SmartStart CD, and then later right off the Compaq site, that would double check the drivers and re-install any as needed.

HP recommends that you should re-run the ProLiant Support Pack after running a windows service pack:
