"Sent" items are dissapearing (Outlook 2002)

Dear experts,

We have the problem on one several user computers - 'sent' items are dissapearing from time to time.

Do you have any ideas?
Outlook version is 10.6515.2625

Are you talking about single sent items? or groups of sent items? And what is the frequency that the items disappear?

Hi Andrey,
You said you had it on several computers? Are you using POP boxes, or are you using Exchange or other mailserverprogram where the clients get theire mail from., futher I hav no direct clue, but if you use a mailserver, problem probebly is there,

I am not sure what mail server you are using, but try this first.
Go to tools then eMail options then see if the 'save copies of messages in the sent folder' is checked.
let me know what e mail program tou are using.
Also, are iems with attachments disappearing?
Or is it just any mail item disappearing.

Also, on the Tools menu, check the rules wizard to make sure you don't have a rule moving sent messages to another folder.
