Simpler Navigation for Servers and Operating Systems
Completed: a much simpler Servers and Operating Systems section of the Community. We combined many of the older boards, so you won't have to click through so many levels to get at the information you need. Check the consolidated boards here as many sub-forums are now single boards.

Re: screen saver (background)

It may be set as a local policy.

Open a CMD windows, and type in: gpedit.msc

This will allow you to check your local security policies.

Or.. same CMD window, and enter rsop.msc
to check for domain level policies.

What version of Windows are you using?

To execute a command window, you use START > run, then enter "cmd" in the box. That will open another window where you can follow Jon's suggestion.
