thumnail does not work in my document

thumnail does not work in my document

I click on my Document, then I click on My Pictures. I go to view and click on thumbnails, but only gif`s in the folder show up. All the jpg`s are just a empty boxs.???????Can`t seem to find out how to change this. I know i did something to this folder. johnv45
