virus scanner /constant running of cpu
My virus scanner can not get past my inbox.
I tried the free scan from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner and the same thing happened. I also tried to run the scanners in safe mode. I have removed all of Netscape, but obviously there must be some parts left as the new scan still hangs at the same file. See pic. This all started after my windows security intercepted a malicious zip file from Windows Live Messenger. I have also un installed Norton and re installed and tried to run again.
For some reason I can not get the system restore (safe mode)to work or set a date back before this problem started. I have 1.5 gb of memory and about 60% available, but the cpu seem to run at all times 100% even after disconnecting from the internet. Please advise
