Re: Antonio reached the dunes

Great work, Antonio!

I hope that being a pharaoh won't make you want to run Unix on some old Pyramid computer. :-)

Also watch out for those plagues. They can be really nasty. :-)

Re: Antonio reached the dunes

Hello my friends :-)
No bird flu stopped me but it's my job :-(
I'm always working out of my office. I use remainder of my time to keep alive Italian OpenVMS web site at http://it.openvms.org
I'm very very sorry.
Thank a lot for your interest on me and see you soon (I hope in April, of this year, obviously).
Don't forget, see Winter Olympic Games in Turin! (On http://it.openvms.org there is a little picture of Olympic Stadium, changed every 3 minutes).

Re: Antonio reached the dunes

Antonio,

a bit off topic, but:

CONGRATULATIONS on the Gold Medal for the Squadra Azurri on speed skating pursuit, especially their captain, Enrico Fabris. He scored a personal Gold Medal on the 1500 m as well!

Do you realise that this former world champion all-round has been famous in the Netherlands for many years already?

Yes, the Dutch are just plain jealous!

Proost.

Have one on me.

Re: Antonio reached the dunes

Jan,
thank for your delicius words. I didn't know Enrico Fabris was famous in the Netherlands but I'm not amazed because I know Dutch people love skating. My brother-in-law (he's a Dutch) wanted to watch one show but tickets sold out.

In these day I feel like I'm living in London because there are a lot of foreign people. In Turin, we don't usually see people of other countries.

Re: Antonio reached the dunes

Antonio,

A very belated congratulations on becoming a Pharaoh. Looks like we have similar interests - first love is VMS, but also contribute to many other forums. But you've been doing it a lot longer than I have...

Also, congratulations on Italy's fine Olympics performance. So far it is at 4 Gold and 6 Bronze - any more to come?

Re: Antonio reached the dunes

Allan,
I appreciated you congratulations.
Here, in our home Olympic Games we're waiting for some other medals, first in ski.

Have a nice day.
