AllowNonvmsLoginWithExpiredPw

Allowed values: yes, no
Default: no

Description: Controls behavior when a non-OpenVMS client attempts to establish an SSH connection to an OpenVMS
server account with an expired password. The password change option is implemented for OpenVMS-to-OpenVMS
connections only. The value yes allows clients to connect with a warning message and sets the pwd_expired flag in
the userâ s SYSUAF record. The value no rejects the login.

Re: Automatically set PWD_EXPIRED Flag in account profile.

We used the suggestion made by Wim, but had to also allow Password and Keyboard-Interactive authentications - because you need to go Keyboard-Interactive to reset a password when the system demands it of you.

We are on OpenVMS 7.3-2, TCPIP 5.4 ECO 7
