CSWS New Install Startup
Hello, I just freshly installed CSWS 2.1-1 and PHP 1.3 on a dual-node Alpha VMS 7.3-2 cluster. I've successfully run APACHE$CONFIG, and I'm trying to start it with SYS$STARTUP:APACHE$STARTUP.COM. I'm getting the following: [Sun Dec 10 10:46:36 2006] [error] (5)i/o error: Unable to create input file DPA100:[000000.APACHE.SPECIFIC.MX1.][000000]APACHE$SWS.
COM. I'm logged in as SYSTEM and I can create files in that directory. What's up?

Re: CSWS New Install Startup
If you have auditing enabled for file access failure then see what it says.

Re: CSWS New Install Startup
I'm still at CSWS 1.3 (roughly), and all the
files in my [.APACHE..] tree seem to be owned
by the AP_HTTPD account. Who owns yours?
Being able to do things as SYSTEM is hardly
a guarantee of proper configuration. It
would not be best practice to run CSWS with
ALL privileges, for example.

Re: CSWS New Install Startup
It was a diskquota issue. I logged in as APACHE$WWW and was unable to create a file. All is well now...
Thanks.
Thanks.
