Is there any driver available to support USB Falsh drive (1GB). I studied there was a plan to support USB with OVMS 7.3/Alpha DS10 and ES4x platforms for Mouse/keyboard and Modem. But I have USB flash memory card, want to use to copy files to/from OpenVMS 8.2/Alpha DS10.
Any hope? where I can get freeware if one available.
Thnx

SolutionSorry, no it won't work. It's not that there's no driver, it's that the hardware on the DS10 won't work.
The DS10 was designed before the USB standards had been finalised. Unfortunately it's based on the wrong standard and will not operate with current USB devices.
Later Alpha and Integrity systems work with some USB devices. Make sure you're up to date with all patches.

Re: Can we use USB pendrive (Transcend's JetFlash) in OpenVMS
works with some PCI USB V1.1 cards but not the built in one on the DS10 as it used a different chipset.
UCB mass storage support is due to properly arrive in VMS V8.3
Purely Personal Opinion
