Change AppMind Server
Hi,
I have a new AppMind Management Server (also the OVO Management Server)and i need to change all AppMind OpenVMS agents configuration, in order for these to communicate with the new server. I followed the procedure describe on User's Guide Manual (page 13)and i got some errors:
=============================================
TC21:SYSTEM> @sys$update:vmsinstal APMSMA_VMS_031001_0342
OpenVMS AXP Software Product Installation Procedure V7.3-1
It is 18-AUG-2005 at 15:36.
Enter a question mark (?) at any time for help.

Re: Change AppMind Server
When the installation procedure asks:
* Where will the distribution volumes be mounted: SYS$LOGIN:
You need to either enter the proper directory that contains the install (*.PCSI) package or set your default to the directory containing the install package before running the install. Since you are running this from you login directory and the .PCSI installation file is not there it did not find it.

Once it's in production it's all bugs after that.

Re: Change AppMind Server
Paulo,
if you are supposed to use @SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL.COM for product installation and are supposed to enter SYS$LOGIN: as the kit location, there must be a file called APMSMA_VMS_031001_0342.A in your login directory.
If the kit filename would have an extension of .PCSI, you would need to use PRODUCT INSTALL to install the kit.
Do you have a WEB pointer to the user guide ?
Volker.
