Changing Cluster size on the OS disk

Thanks to all for your responses. The NOINIT worked a treat.

I need to use the system disk as this machine is only a DS10 with two internal 60 GB disks. Using the system disk is not ideal, but these are only test machines, production equipment has a much better spec.

In regard to the software, it has changed very little since it was written for Concurrent, then VAX, then Alpha and now Itanium VMS machines. It may not be ideal, but it can search several hundred mb files in ms or log 100,000+ transactions in a minute. They'll not be changing now on my say so.
