Hi,
I create some very nice printed purchase orders for vendors using PCL macros for laser printer output. The purchasing dept would like to have this output changed to PDF files to email to vendors.
I can create Word documents using HTML when emailing, can PDF files be created using HTML?
Can PDF files be created using OpenVms?
Any suggestions on good software that can be used to do this?
OpenVms V8.3-1H1 on Itanium.
Thanks,
Rich

Re: Creating PDF documents
Rich,
the HTMLDOC tool can create PDF files from HTML files on OpenVMS.
You can find it on the OpenVMS Freeware V7 or inside the HP T4 tool.

No.

For PCL you would have to use GhostPCL. It's open source, LGPL but you've got to port it to VMS.
