DEC server 700. I have a DEC Server 700 that I am unable to change the Prompt
this is the view I see what i use the command sho server: The only setting we can see that is different from a unit that is working is the prompt. Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in how this unit works if the prompt is set to local instead of showing the server name?

thanks for your response! I tried those settings and no luck. Do you know if that settign makes a difference in how something connects and communicates?

you need double quotes around the new name.
it is cosmetic, not functiona.
