DECWINDOWS CDE on AS500 (7.3) with IBM T55A screen

Is resulting in a black screen. The Alphastation 500 is a cluster station with MSCP served disks.

Resolution of IBM T55a (9513-aw1) is 1024 * 768.

I don't see anything special in the log files.

What must be done to get it working ?
(I played with the settings in decw$private_server_setup without results)

BTW : the screen is 15 inch. Control f2 returns correctly to the console.

Forgot to mention that it works fine with a NEC 1910 multisync.

Forgot to mention that it worked with an older 233 Mhz model (standalone 7.2, now gone) and it's not working with the 400 Mhz model (7.3).

Found it.

The graphical card is a PBXGB-AA.
If you open the station and the side pannel, you find a turning swich. It was on 0 (high res) and should be on 5 (med res).
The screen adapts itself automatically with the graph. card, if possible. But the switch on 0 is not supported.
