Data Protector and 64k

Hi there
We are using Data Protector to backup up our mixed SAN environment, MS,UNIX and OVMS. The backup window is getting to small, so we are thinking about switching to use the SAN for backup. But when we try to use the Media Agent on the OVMS to use the libraries which are connected to the SAN, we allways get an error:
'Cannot append to medium (Invalid block size. 63k must be 64k)'
Is this a known problem?
Is it possible to make OVMS write 64k?

Re: Data Protector and 64k

Kjartan,

according to the I/O Users Reference Manual (V8.2) cahpter 3.4 the IO size for magnetic tapes is still limited to 65535 bytes (64K - 1) per IO.
