Data Protector does not update BDT

I'm running OVMS 7.3-2. We are using Data Protector for backup. DP server is a Windows server. Unfortunately the backup time of the backuped files is not updated. is the information you get when you do DIR /DAT=BAC. No commands with qualifier /BACK work as expected. The files are saved on backup media but it is not visible in RMS.

Perhaps this is the reason? From the DP help:

"If the Do not preserve access time attributes (-touch) option is enabled during a backup, the last accessed date will be updated with the current date and time on ODS-5 disks. On ODS-2 disks this option has no effect and all the dates remain unchanged."

ODS-2 for you?

In my view a backup tool should never update any date field EXCEPT the backup date. Unfortunatly DP does not have the option to set the backup date. When we started using this product (about 2 years ago, version 5.5) I requested an enhancement but upto now I have not heard anything. Even in the release notes of 6.0 I did not find anything.

I wonder how Legato managed bdt update?
We used Legato and bdt was update.
