Daylight Savings Time
Daylight Savings Time
Since Daylight savings time my VMS time is an hour behind. The time in Cache is fine. But if I change the time in VMS, the Cache time moves ahead as well. Does anyone know how I may change this without changing my Cache time?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Daylight Savings Time
Re: Daylight Savings Time
More info is required...
Which VMS version?
Is Cache Intersystems Cache database (which is written in C and uses the C-RTL routines to fetch/display time)?
Please post the output of
$ show logical/system sys$*time*
Do you use NTP or DTSS to synch time on this system?
How do you handle daylight savings time changes?

See
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/faq/vmsfaq_005.html#time4
about correctly setting the various logicals.
In some versions of VMS you had to change the local time offset in UCX as this was the one that the C run time library used.
