Hi,
I have setup the DCPS environment successfully on our test environment about 2 years ago.
Now I are looking at it again. It works fine with a "Xerox WCP 245" product name. No problem printing on test server.
I have now configured DCPS on another OpenVMS system.
Updated the DCPS$STARTUP.COM file with all the queue information
Queues were created successful.
I can issue a Print command and the print job is submitted to the correct queue.......but it does not print.
Job TEST (queue TEST1_TST_REPORTS, entry 927) completed
I did define the logicals PRODUCT_NAME" = "Xerox WCP 245" and SPOOL=" = "TRUE"
I'm using a Generic queue as well. Send print job to generic queue and it is routed to the relevant execution queue.
Two years is a long time, maybe I forgot to do something that I did then.
Any funnies / tricks regarding this configuration?
Thanks for your help.
Jakes

SolutionHi,
I experianced a dull moment this morning when doing the configs.
I identified my own configuration mistake.
The DCPS$TEST1_TST_REPORTS_SPOOL" = "TRUE" logical is very important otherwise the printjob can't be spooled.
I made a typing mistake when defining the above mentioned logical.
All is working fine now.
Sorry about his.
Thanks
Jakes
