Decforms error
When running one decforms screen I get the following message:
unrecognised mode <2146795525>
Does anyone know what this means?
Thanks,
Eamon.

Re: Decforms error
That does not look like a VMS or DECforms error message (code). I think it is generated by the application itself. If that is true, it will be hard for any of us here to help.
The number displayed is pretty high, in hex: 7FF58005
If this is a VMS address it would be 'odd' (sic!) and would be near the 'top' of P1 space, near the IMCB (Image Control Blocks) and such.
I would encourage you to (get your developers) to simply SEARCH the application sources for 'unrecognised mode' and see whether it is coming from the source, and what it might be trying to tell you.
What changed? Is this a new form, a new terminal-type? New datavalues? something must have changed to get you here now!
Good luck,
Hein.

Re: Decforms error
Hi,
Like Hein wrote, it doesn't look like a VMS error code.
And if it _was_ a VMS status code, it is an odd (as in: non-even) number, meaning (qualified) success, and NOT an error!
All the more reason to follow Hein's line of thought, and seek the problem in the application itself.
