How can I create a node name in database?
I want to do SET HOST

Re: Decnet plus question.

Welcome to the brave new world of DECnet/Plus and ncl - enjoy :-)

$ RUN SYS$SYSTEM:DECNET_REGISTER
then use the option to register a node name.
You will have to enter the full name
(can be .nodename) and the synonym (nodename)
and the DECnet address (probably x.x in NSP DECnet/IV format).
