Dear everyone,
Does anyone in the HP community posess the php4orardb.tar.gz file whose code was written by Timo Lamminjoki for Tru64 and is no longer available from http://www.ktl.fi/distribution/software/php4orardb.tar.gz
If someone does have it, would he be kind enough to contact me at Philippe.Vouters@laposte.net ? Someone in Belgium was interested to run Apache/PHP/RDB on his OpenVMS V8.4 system and contacted me because he could no longer find this file on the Web. This way I shall be able to upgrade my http://vouters.dyndns.org/tima/OpenVMS-CSWS-Apache-PHP-Building_PHP_RDB_PHP5_module.html article with new links. This has interested this Belgian person and may interest anyone running Apache/PHP and having an RDB database.
Thank you for your attention.
Philippe

SolutionPhillipe,
Given that HP "enhancements" have all but killed off traffic to this forum, I'd suggest you find somewhere else to post your question in order to address a reasonable size audience.
I don't have a copy of the file you're after, but I did find a reference to it with a google search. You may want to send email to wermelskirchen (at) connect-community.de . See http://www.connect-community.de/Events/openvms2010/FOLIEN/11-OpenVMSmitWebSysuafrdb.pdf

Re: Does anyone posses the file php4orardb.tar.gz ?
Dear John,
Your mail contact was the right one. With a slight file reorganization, I succeeded to rebuild a php4orardb.tar.gz file and successfully rebuilt the PHP/RDB module using my DCL code. I am running Apache V2.1-1 and PHP V2.1 which are HP's latest versions. Many thanks indeed to you. Your help was determinant.
With my very warmest regards to you.
Philippe
