Exporting mount points to HP-UX

I have OpenVMS 7.3-2, tcpip 5.4 ECO 5. I have several mount points exported to my Tru64 Unix systems. We have brought in HP-UX systems running 11i v1 to replace the Tru64 boxes.

Is anybody out there exporting mount points to HP-UX? My initial try at just adding them in to the tcpip proxy database failed with Hp unable to mount the exported filesystems.

Any help is appreciated.

I have found this on my own. I turned on broadcast on the vms side

$reply/enable

I then checked to see how the proxy comes across and realized that I had not added the proxy for the new hpux account

tcpip> add proxy tcpip$nobody /uid=0/gid=3/node="fullyqualname"

On the HPux side i used udp as my connection protocol.
