Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
You should first check which ECO of UCX/TCP-IP you are using.
Can you post a
$ ucx show version ?

Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
(acc/fu accountng:/sin=xxx).
Also check log files in sys$sysdevice:[*tcp*].
Or do a show sys before and after the problem and check which process is gone.

Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
HP TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Alpha Version V5.4
OK, thanks. First I am going to install the ECO and see what happens. Because I can do that not earlier than next week, you will hear from me after the installation

Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
Welkom bij het VMS Forum
(en ja, in deze club is het gebruikelijk met voornamen te werken!)
From TCP 5.4 I presume this is about VMS 7.3-2 or 8.2? Standalone or clustered? TCPIP SHO VERS does also show the installed ECO.
All this info can be of value for diagnosis.
Proost.
Have one on me.

Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
Thanks for welcoming me. I have two 7.3-2 standalone VMS-systems (one operational, one backup). On our backup system the problem doesn't exist. It also has ECO-4 installed. Next week I am planning to install ECO-4 and update V0500 on the operational system.
Greetings, Sjors

Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
there should have been another OPCOM message from INTERnet ACP prior to this one. This should give you the information, which TCPIP service was affected. The image running that service seems to have incurred an ACCVIO (access violation). There should be a logfile for that service and in that logfile, you should find more details about the access violation...

Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
It seems you're right:
INTERnet ACP SMBD Accept Request from Host: ***.***.***.*** Port: 1830
I shall ask the administrator of the host what the machine does and why.

Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
the machine seem to be running SAMBA for OpenVMS (TCPIP Service SMBD). Check TCPIP SHOW SERV/FULL SMBD, this will point you to the service logfile (File: under Log opts:).
Then look at the .LOG file. SAMBA has probably got an ACCVIO...

Re: INTERnet ACP AUXS error during process exit
It seems the problem is gone. Monday I restarted the system because of an other problem and since then, there are no new messages. Even the message:
INTERnet ACP SMBD Accept Request from Host: ***.***.***.*** Port: 1830
doesn't appear anymore. Thanks everyone for the replies!
