Installation of DECEvent
The install directions say to run sys$update:vmsinstal "KIT NAME" system disk I have tried DECEVENT, DIA, and DIAAO34. All produced a message %VMSINSTAL-E-NOPRODS, None of the specified products were found. What is the secret?

Re: Installation of DECEvent
if I read your text correctly you have the letter O in the product name. This should be the digit zero 0. Did you try DIA034?
Greetings, Martin

Re: Installation of DECEvent
a very interesting alternative to DECevent (you need for DECevent a yearly license update) is WEBES. It has got a very nice web interface and nicly fits into a centralized concept for your systems.
Here is the link:

Re: Installation of DECEvent
Note the system on which you install DECevent or webes should be covered by a service obligation of some kind (warrenty, contract).
Purely Personal Opinion
