Java AES256 encryption
Our application requires encryption using AES256 but seem to require a specific set of classes that is not included in the JRE kit (Java 5). Where can this be obtained (export restrictions do not apply)

Re: Java AES256 encryption
Locating (unspecified) Java classes often involves Google, and encryption technologies in particular can be omitted specifically because of concerns around export or import.

Re: Java AES256 encryption
Over 40.000 hits isn't directly helpful ;)
But I found the files I was looking for on the Java download pages at java.sun.com. Just that these are for Java 6, and we use JDK 5 (and JRE 5 on 7.3-2) and an older version could not be found.

Re: Java AES256 encryption
Found the Java 5 files as well - a bit hidden on the site - and installed them.
