Keyboard Mapping

I have a PC keyboard connected to a KVM switch, which splits between my PC and my Alphaserver running DECwindows. I just installed the vtfm utility, which uses function keys from F10 to F20, and I realized
I don't know how to enter F13-F20. Any suggestions? TIA

Re: Keyboard Mapping

Jack,
Did you try any of the following sequence from F13 - F20

Alt-F3 or Shift-F3 or Ctrl-F3 for F13
Alt-F4 or Shift-F4 or Ctrl-F4 for F14
Alt-F5 or Shift-F5 or Ctrl-F5 for F15

Re: Keyboard Mapping

Specific for vtfm :

It is possible to use F1-F10 keys on some keyboards instead
of default F11-F20 keys if run VTfm with "f1" argument:

$ vtfm f1

Otherwise and in general, XMODMAP (in DECW$UTILS) is Your friend: You can remap any of F1-F12, shifted or Alt, to deliver the codes of F13-F20.
