Load Balancing METRIC/LBROKER

We have a OpenVMS Cluster two-nodes ES47 in which we use TCPIP services METRIC / LBROKER for load balancing. There is another more efficient method for load balancing interactive sessions. Very soon we will be migrating Integrity servers. There is something in this platform for this type of load balancing. There any software that allows load balancing.

sartur,

OpenVMS is OpenVMS is OpenVMS...

There is no difference in TCPIP functionality between OpenVMS Alpha and OpenVMS I64.

You could continue to use these services in OpenVMS Integrity servers also.

The TCPIP funnctionality you are getting from OpenVMS in Alpha should be
present in Integrity also.

You can refer the following link for a technical journal on
"Configuring TCP/IP for High Availability"
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/openvms/journal/v2/articles/tcpip.html

The above link may have some more technical journals on load balancing.
You can check them in case you are intrested.
