Looking for example of DECwindows LBX setup
I've been trying to set up DECwindows to use LBX (the low bandwidth extension to the server). I've read through the sections of the DECwindows Motif New Features Manual
(see http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/732final/6663/6663PRO.HTML?jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN)
and also a unix-oriented document called "The LBX Mini-HOWTO" at
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO/other-formats/pdf/LBX.pdf
but haven't quite got everything working.
I've managed to set up an LBX proxy on my VMS workstation but I can't seem to get past the access controls even if I try to connect from the same workstation. I'm not very familiar with the access control mechanisms involved, so I don't know quite how to proceed.
I could use a thorough example (DCL command procedures would be very helpful) of how to set this up, starting hopefully with minimal access controls that I can then adjust to fit our needs.
Can anyone supply such an example or further information?
