MSA2312fc Problem with OpenVMS V 8.4
There are any Changes in V84. with the Fibre Channel?
Using from sys$etc Fibre_scan.exe can see the MSA2312fc but no Devices will be shown.
What is differened from V8.2 (V8.3) to V8.4?

Re: MSA2312fc Problem with OpenVMS V 8.4
Just curious...have you or has anyone checked the SPD to see if that tape unit was supported officially on previous Alpha releases? If this turned out to be a "it just worked magically" situation without official support then you might have trouble getting a resolution. Of course there is the possibility that some driver change late in the release cycle might have gotten missed during the build and testing of V8.4, hence what amounts to a support regression. How long has that tape been working?

Re: MSA2312fc Problem with OpenVMS V 8.4
We tested the MSA2312fc with an DS10 and differened OS Versions; V8.2, V8.3 and V8.4.
It was an Customer Problem.
It ist very important to select the correct Profil within the MSA Management Console.
There was the fault. The customer did not selct OpenVMS.
