Max allowed processes for you username

Can anyone suggest why I might be getting

%LOGIN-F-USEREXC, you are at maximum allowed processes for your user name

when I have PRCLM = 0 (on my UAF record), and PQL_MPRCLM = 10

This started happening suddenly ~ 1 hour ago, i.e. these parameters haven't changed recently.

Dave.

Re: Max allowed processes for you username

Might want to post UAF> SHOW BRIT and any related accounting record if I don't guess right with the following:

UAF> MODIFY BRIT /MAXJOBS=more

If not, mayhap the infrequently used /MAXACCTJOBS?

PRCLM is your subprocess limit. As Hoff points out, MAXJOBS limits your number of processes (interactive, batch etc).

Dave,

I second Hoff's comment, check BOTH /MAXJOBS and /MAXACCTJOBS (or possibly post the sanitized output of SHOW ).
