Maximum VMS version for software

Is there somewhere a document saying what the maximum VMS version is for a software package in a specific version ?
E.g. console manager 1.6, AMDS, ...

(I want to upgrade some nodes from 6.21H3 to 7.3 without upgrading the products)

I do not think so. Check the spd at
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/info/SPD/ for your product (good luck finding if it is a Cobol, Dec Cobol, Compaq Cobol, Hp Cobol, Open Cobol...) for some info about your product, but I am afraid it will only be a minimum vms version.
