NFS - Mounting of exported directories
Firstly, I have searched through the HP forums and on Google for anything relating to my problem. This problem was discussed before in this forum, but the resolution does not apply to my problem. I have configured many NFS servers before, but never encountred this problem.
The problem:
After doing all the NFS startup tasks, like starting PORTMAPPER, PCNFS, NFS and MOUNT services, I created a MAP, PROXY and Exported a directory. When I now restart NFS the following error pops up on the concole:
Message from user TCPIP$NFS on ITU001
%TCPIP-E-NFS_BFSCAL, operation MOUNT_POINT failed on file /dkc300/reg/jaco
Message from user TCPIP$NFS on ITU001
%TCPIP-E-MAPNOSYS, file system is not mapped
In the TCPIP$MOUNTD_ITU001.LOG file, the following error appears:
ERROR: stat: no such file or directory, Cannot stat /dkc300/reg/jaco
Yes, the directory does exist.
Directory DKC300:[REG.JACO]
Please, if anyone encountred this problem before, some advice will be most welcome.
OpenVMS V8.3 (I64)with TCPIP V5.6 ECO 2.
Thanks
Jaco

It would help if you posted all commands you've given.
