OVMS 7.3-1 volume shadowing bugcheck at early boot

Hello,

Trying to enbable volume shadowing is giving me a hard time. I read through various documentations, but so far I'm not able to solve the problem. Although I have the latest consolidated patchkit (0500) installed, the problem persists. What am I doing wrong here?

Markus,

once you've successfully booted without running shadowing on the system disk, there should be a CLUE$COLLECT:CLUE$AVALON_ddmmyy_hhm.LIS file, please post this file as a text attachment.

The problems seems to be, that the disk is connected to an HSD50, but the HSD50 does not have an allocation class set ! The system disk shows up as HSD50$DUA1 - so it does not have an allocation class name (like $1$DUA1:)

Markus,

Reading thru your post, I think the ALLOCLASS parameter is causing the bugcheck.
Since all disks are seen as HSD50$, I guess you have to set the allocation class on the controller also.

I found two corresponding settings that seemed to apply, and fixed the problem:

HSD50> set this mscp_allocation_class = 1
HSD50> set this tmscp_allcoation_class = 1

Now the disks show up as $1$DUA1 at the console and OS. Volume shadowing is working now.
