OpenVMS 7.1 and sFTP

Does the OpenVMS 7.1 support the ssh and sFTP?

Re: OpenVMS 7.1 and sFTP

Openvms 7.1 means Ucx 4.2 (or earlier) or Tcpip 5.0 I think.

It seems to me that there was no sftp, and (I think, but I am not sure) no SSH.

But may be you can install a Tcpware or Multinet or any other IP stack that may have it, as Ucx/Tcpip, has not been the most up to date IP stack.

TCPware will do it
http://www.process.com/tcpip/tcpware.html

Multinet will do it also
http://www.process.com/tcpip/multinet.html

You may want to look at the Madgoat ftp server as well. http://www.madgoat.com. The web site is presently down.

Process Software also offers its SSH and SFTP in a package that can run on TCP/IP Services or UCX:
